Finding Information
using UTPA's Online Databases
How do
I connect off Campus?
You can easily connect to most of the library's
databases from home. When you click on a database
title from the library webpages or through Blackboard,
you will be asked for your BroncID and password.
This should be the same login information that
you used to access your Blackboard course. If
the login does not work, you may need to synchronize
your email passwords. To do this, go to the IT
Help Page. Choose the "Change Password"
link on the left side of the page. You can keep
the same password, just make sure to enter it
on all three lines. Click all of the boxes and
hit "submit". This should solve the
problem. If it doesn't, you will probably need
to stop by the IT Help Desk on the 1st floor of
the Academic Services Building to have the staff
fix your account.
Once you are logged in, you will be able to access
the databases as long as you keep the browser
window open. If you close it, you will be asked
again for your BroncID and password.
This is how the login screen will appear off
campus:
